Kentucky’s county unemployment rate is the lowest its been since 2000. New data says this is the first time since October 2000 that all counties had single-digit percentage unemployment. Woodford County has the state’s lowest unemployment rate, at 2.5-percent. Maggoffin County has the highest unemployment rate in the state, at 9.9-percent. Letcher County’s October unemployment rate was 6.1 percent, down from 9.2 percent a year before.
