The good news… Kentucky’s wildfire season has all but not happened this time around. The bad news is— it’s because we’ve had so… much… rain. Flooding started late in the spring and continued through the past week. Homes were damaged because of flooding and mud slides, but fire agencies in the region are reporting that they’ve responded to virtually zero wildfires. The fall wildfire season officially ended on December 15th. The spring wildfire season runs from February 15th to April 30th.
