One man died… another was hurt in a two-vehicle accident that shut down the Corbin bypass for much of the day yesterday. Kentucky State Police say the accident happened just before 9 AM… when an eastbound commercial truck collided with a commercial truck that was headed westbound. A 40-year old Williamsburg man driving one of the trucks was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. The 57-year old driver in the other truck was flown to the UK Medical Center with unknown injuries. One of the fuel tanks was leaking, and oil spilled all over the road, forcing the closure while crews cleaned up the spills and cleared the trucks from the scene. KSP is helping Corbin police in the investigation.
