Health officials in Perry County say a student at Perry Central High School has tested positive for hepatitis A. Because the student attended classes while exhibiting symptoms, there’s concern that others could come down with the virus. School officials say they have no plans to close down the school. About 80-percent of students in the district have received the newly-mandated hepatitis A vaccination. There are now more than 16-hundred confirmed cases of Hepatitis A in 86 counties across the Commonwealth. 13 patients have died.
