An arrest warrant has been issued for Walter Lee Curtis of Flatgap, Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police do not know where Curtis is at this time.

Around 8 o’clock Monday of a body in the yard of a home on Dixon Branch Road in the Volga community. Police say 58-year old year old Mike Jones was found dead at the scene.
“It’s just shocking,” said John Pennington. “You know when I was younger my daddy always spoke pretty highly of Mike. I never had no problems with him or anything. He was always a good guy to me.”
Through the years J.C. Fyffe says he has watched his small community change.
“I’ve been around here since 1973,” said Fyffe. “It’s a whole lot different than it was.”
Now, local Barber Timmy Salyer says they just want to get back to the way things were years ago.
“I just wish that everybody could get along and love each other. And be the way we are supposed to be in a little community,” said Salyer. “It’s sad to see a little community get tore up.”
“We’ve got a wonderful area here. A lot of good people,” Salyer pointed out. “It’s just a tragedy. A tragic thing. I know both families. They’re friends of mine. I just hate to hear of something like that happening.”
Police say they have issued a warrant for the arrest of a person of interest in the case.
Kentucky State Police are conducting a murder investigation in Johnson County Tuesday.
A body was found around 8 p.m. Monday night at a home on Dixon Branch in the Volga community.
Troopers identified the victim as Mike Jones, 58, of Flatgap. They said the cause of death is possibly due to a gunshot wound, but are waiting on the medical examiner’s autopsy for confirmation.
Police are issuing an arrest warrant for a suspect.
