The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars game against Perry County Central last night was postponed due to the weather.

The Lady Cougars will finish up the regular season on the road Friday night at Shelby Valley.

JV at 6.  Varsity at 7:30.

The 15-9 Jenkins Lady Cavaliers next game will be on the road at Perry County Central this Saturday with varsity only and tip off at 6:00pm.

The 14-11 LCC Cougar boys are scheduled to play at home tonight against Breathitt County.  

JV at 6. Varsity at 7:30.  

If the game is held, we'll have broadcast the LCC-Breathitt County boys game tonight here on the Bulldog and at 1039thebulldog.com.  

The Appalachian Wireless pre game show begins at 7.

Jenkins boys will next play Tuesday at Hazard.

The 2014 53rd District Boys and Girls Tournaments will begin Monday February 24th and both will be held at Knott County Central.

The UK Wildcats held on for a the 64-56 win at Auburn last night.   

The Cats are 19-5 overall and 9-2 in the SEC.  They have a huge game Saturday at home against the league leading Florida Gators.

Game time is Saturday night at 9:00pm with Pregame at 7:30 on 103.9 The Bulldog.

The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers improved to 15-9 overall with a district win at Cordia last night.   

The final was 80-29.  

The Lady Cavaliers will next play at Perry County Central this Saturday with varsity only and tip off at 6:00pm.

Also last night in girls HS basketball:

Shelby Valley beat Knott County Central 51-45 and it was Hazard over Buckhorn 59-45.

The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars are on the road tonight at Perry County Central in a 14th Region big game, weather permitting.

There's 2 more week of the regular season in high school basketball.  The district tournaments will begin Monday February 24th.

The 18-7 Letcher County Central Lady Cougars have now won 4 in a row and 6 of their last 7 as they knocked off 15th Region foe Betsy Layne on the road Saturday 69-40.  

The Lady Cougars will take on the Belfry Lady Pirates, also from the 15th Region, tonight at LCC in their last home game of the season.  

JV begins at 6 with varsity at 7:30.

We'll bring you the Lady Cougars game tonight on the Bulldog with the Appalachian Wireless Cougar Countdown Pre-Game Show beginning at 7.

The 14-9 Jenkins Lady Cavaliers won't play again until this Saturday February 15th when they are at Perry County Central.

The 14-11 Letcher County Central Cougar boys were scheduled to play at Cordia Friday night and at Estill County Saturday afternoon but both games were postponed.   

The next Cougar boys game will be at home as they take on Breathitt County this Thursday.  

The Jenkins Cavalier Boys will be in action at home tonight against Allen Central.  

JV at 6.  Varsity at 7:30.

The UK Wildcats beat Mississippi State Saturday on the road 69-59 to improve to 18-5 overall and 8-2 in the SEC.

The Cats are back on the road at Auburn Wednesday night.  

Tipoff is 8:00pm.

Tonight on the Bulldog we'll have the Coach Cal Show with Tom Leach starting at 6:00pm.

The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars beat Belfry last night at LCC 68-14.  

They have now won 5 in a row and 7 of their last 8 games to improve to 19-7 overall.   

The Lady Cougars will next be on the road at Perry County Central in a 14th Region big game Wednesday night.  

JV at 6.  Varsity at 7:30.

Also last night in girls basketball, Harlan County beat Bell County 39-37 and Harlan over Middlesboro 51-39

The 14-9 Jenkins Lady Cavaliers are back in action this Saturday when they play at Perry County Central.

In Girls High School basketball last night, The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars improved to 17-7 overall after beating the Hazard Lady Bulldogs on the road 54-41.  

The Lady Cougars had 3 players in double figures led by Kim Meade with 14, Cheyenne Stidham picked up 13 and Kelli Quillen added 11.  

The LCC Girls are back on the road Saturday afternoon playing at Belfry.

JV is at 2 with Varsity at 3:30.

and Belfry beat Prestonsburg 66-51.

The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers won't play again until Saturday February 15th when they take on Perry County Central.
