The 8-4 Letcher County Central Cougar Soccer team will play at home against Jackson City tonight at 7:30pm.

The 8-3 Lady Cougars Soccer team  won't be in action again until October 1st when they play at Shelby Valley.

The Letcher County Central Lady Cougar volleyball team won't play until October 1 when they battle Betsy Layne on the road.

This afternoon at 4:30pm Letcher County Central Boys and Girls Golf teams will face off against Shelby Valley at Raven Rock Golf Course in Jenkins.

This week in high school football,  The 3-2 Letcher County Central Cougars will be home at Cougar Field to take on the 2-3 Somerset Briar Jumpers.  

We'll bring you the game on 103.9 THe Bulldog.

Kickoff is set for 7:30pm with pregame at 6:45pm.

The Jenkins Cavaliers will play Jackson County at home this Friday at 7:30pm.

The UK Wildcats resume play with a big SEC matchup this Saturday in Lexington at Commonwealth Stadium against the Florida Gators.   

The game will kickoff at 7:00pm and we'll have it here on the Bulldog with Countdown to Kickoff starting at 5:30pm.

Week 5 of High School Football is in the books and the Letcher County Central Cougars are 3-2 after making easy work of the Sheldon Clark Cardinals on Homecoming Friday night at Cougar Field.  

Miss Madison Stump was named homecoming queen before the game and the Cougars took care of Sheldon Clark early leading 21-0 after the 1st quarter and 41-0 at halftime before posting a 55-6 win.  

The Cougars are 3-0 at home and welcome in the 2-3 Somerset Briar Jumpers this Friday at  Cougar Field.  

Kickoff set for 7:30pm with pregame at 6:45pm on 103.9 The Bulldog.

Corbin beat Letcher County Central 4-1 in Boys Soccer on Saturday.   

The 8-4 Cougars will play at home against Jackson City Tuesday at 7:30pm.

The LCC Lady Cougar Soccer Team lost to Lawrence County 4-2 on Saturday.  

The 8-3 Lady Cougars won't play again until October 1st when they take on Shelby Valley.

In high school volleyball, Letcher County Central competed in the Citizen's Bank Volleyball Throwdown at Bath County on Saturday.

The lost to Marion County and Hazard while beating East Carter and Louisville Iriqous.

The Lady Cougar volleyball team won't play until October 1 when the battle Betsy Layne on the road.

The UK Wildcats had the weekend off with an open date but will resume play with a big SEC matchup this Saturday in Lexington at Commonwealth Stadium against the Florida Gators.   

The game will kickoff at 7:00pm and we'll have it here on the Bulldog with Countdown to Kickoff starting at 5:30pm.

Tonight on the Bulldog, we'll get the latest on the Cats with the Coach Mark Stoops Show at 6:00pm, followed by Big Blue Weekly with Dick Gabriel at 7.

Letcher County Central Cross Country had first home meet of the year on Tuesday.   
It was a dual meet against Knott County Central.   
The LCC Boys and Girls received a perfect score of 15.
The boys were lead by Trevor Wayne and  senior Dylan Burton.
The girls were lead by Senior Leanna Bryant and sophomore Ally Dameron.
Also Bailey Kincer placed 1st in the Middle school division.
The LCC Cross Country boys and girls will compete in a meet hosted by Franklin County at the Kentucky Horse Park at Georgetown this Saturday morning at 9am.

The Letcher County Central Lady Cougar Volleyball team is 11-7 and will next play at Johnson Central Thursday at 7:30pm.

The Letcher County Central Boys and Girls Soccer teams will have a doubleheader on the road against the Hazard Bulldogs tonight.
The girls will play at 6:00pm and the boys around 7:30pm.

After starting at 3-7 on the year, the Letcher County Central Lady Cougar Volleyball team has reeled off 9 straight wins to improve to 12-7.  

They beat Johnson Central last night in Paintsville 3-0.

 
The scoring was 25-22, 25-22 and 25-19.

The Lady Cougar Volleyball Team will next play Louisville Iriqous and some other teams on Saturday at Bath County High School in the Citizen's Bank Volleyball Throwdown.

The Letcher County Central Boys and Girls Soccer teams got a doubleheader win at Hazard last night.

The Cougar Girls shutout the Bulldogs 5-0 for their fourth win in a row and 8-2 overall.

They will next play in Louisa against Lawrence County tomorrow, Saturday, at 2:00pm.

The LCC Boys Soccer Team beat Hazard 6-2 and now sit at 8-3 overall.

The Cougar Boys will stay home this weekend as they play Corbin at LCC, tomorrow, Saturday at 5:00pm.

The Letcher County Central Cross Country boys and girls will compete in a meet hosted by Franklin County at the Kentucky Horse Park at Georgetown, tomorrow, Saturday starting at 9am.

Perry County Central beat Letcher County Central in Boys Soccer last night at PCC.  The final was 2-1.  

Both Perry County Central and Letcher County Central are 3-1 in the district, having beaten each other once.

The Cougars are 7-3 overall and will be back in action on the road against the Hazard Bulldogs at 7:30pm Thursday, part of a boys/girls doubleheader.

The 7-2 LCC Lady Cougars Soccer Team will play the first game of the doubleheader at Hazard Thursday at 6:00pm.

This Friday will begin week 5 of high school football.

The 2-2 Letcher County Central Cougars will return home for Homecoming as they take on the 0-3 Sheldon Clark Cardinals at Cougar Field on Friday night.
