HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL

The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars took both games against Cordia in a district double header last night at LCC.  The finals were 20-3 and 15-0.   LCC has won 3 in a row and is back to 500 with an 11-11 overall record on the season.  The Lady Cougars continue to play games daily and today they play at Leslie County at 6:00pm and on Friday they are on the road at East Ridge at 6:00pm.  The Lady Cougars will have a double header Saturday at home against Harlan County starting at 12 noon.

The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers at Shelby Valley game on Wednesday was cancelled.   The 21-4 Lady Cavaliers will not play again until Monday when they play Shelby Valley in a home game at 5:30pm.
 
HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

In baseball, the 21-9 Letcher County Central Cougars baseball team will next play this weekend, Friday and Saturday, in the Fayette County Invitational at Paul Lawrence Dunbar HS in Lexington.  They play East Jessamine on Friday night at 8:00pm and take on Dunbar at 10:00am Saturday and Louisville Ballard at 12:30 Saturday afternoon.

The Jenkins Cavaliers baseball will have their next game this Monday at home against Knott County Central at 5:30pm in a district game.


TRACK

Letcher County Central Boys and Girls Track Teams will compete in the KHSAA Class 2A Region 7 Track Meet @ Leslie County High School this Saturday.
