The Letcher County Central Cross Country teams competed in the Pikeville All-Comers Meet on Monday at Bob Amos Park in Pikeville.

There were 98 runners and several schools there.  LCC boys and girls both won 1st place overall.

Chase Cates placed 1st for the boys and Leanna Bryant palced 1st for the girls.

The elementary division winner was Bailey Kincer.

The LCC Cross Country boys and girls will compete in the Chuck Vitatoe Invitational at Harlan County this Saturday morning at 9:30am.

The Letcher County Central Cougar boys soccer team is now 11-4 and winners of 3 in a row after shutting out Shelby Valley on the road last night 7-0.

The LCC Lady Cougars soccer team also played Shelby Valley last night as part of a double header but we don't have a score.

The Girls will next play at Paintsville October 8th at 6:00pm.

The boys play Whitley County at home Thursday at 6:00pm in their next game.

The Letcher County Central Lady Cougar Volleyball team will have their next game on October 8th at home against Pikeville.

The 3-3 LCC Cougar varsity football team has an open date this Friday and will next play at Harlan County on Friday October 11th at they begin district play.

The Jenkins Cavaliers will take on Knott County Central at home Friday night with kickoff at 7:30pm.

The UK Wildcats will take on South Carolina in Columbia Saturday night with kickoff at 7:30pm.
