It was a boys and girls doubleheader for LCC Soccer last night at Prestonsburg.
The Letcher County Central Boys Soccer team has reeled off 4 straight wins.
They beat the Blackcats on the road last night 2-1.
The win puts them at 4-1 on the season.
The LCC Lady Cougars also won over Prestonsburg to remain unbeaten at 5-0.
The Soccer teams will have another boys/girls doubleheader this Saturday at Estill County.
The girls play at 12 noon. The boys play at 2:00pm.
The Letcher County Central Lady Cougar Volleyball team lost at Hazard last night 3 games to 1.
The scores were 25-19, 20-25, 25-18 and 25-19.
The Lady Cougars are now 3-5 and will play Belfry at home this Thursday at 6:30pm.
The 2-0 Letcher County Central Cougar Football team will head to Hazard for their first road game of the season this Friday as they take on the Bulldogs at Daniel Field.
Hazard is 0-1 on the year after losing to Pikeville in a 62-50 shootout Saturday in the Pike County Bowl.
Game time is set for 7:30pm and we'll have the game here on the Bulldog with the Cougar Countdown Pre-game Show starting at 6:45.

Youth football teams from several county schools will be competing in an all day bowl extravaganza.
There will be seven games played throughout the day with the first game starting at 10:00am.

Jenkins golfer Lexi Stambaugh will complete at the All A Classic State Tournament this Saturday September 7 at Burnside, Ky.
