Brandon Robinson is no stranger to people in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Most know Brandon
from his time spent as a Weather anchor at WYMT television, and some have gotten to know him through
his current public relations work at Southeast Community College in Cumberland. Brandon and his wife
Stephanie are friends to so many, including the staff of 103.9 FM The Bulldog and WTCW AM. The Robinsons call
Letcher County home, and they need your help.
Brandon was recently diagnosed with brian cancer and has begun chemo and radiation treatments.
A portion of his treatments require Brandon to make several trips each week to Pikeville, and his cancer
treatment medications are very costly. Our community helped raise over $12,000 for Brandon during
the recent 103.9 Bulldog Radiothon. But keep giving - any amount!
If you called in a donation during the Radio-Thon you can drop off your money (make checks out to Brandon Robinson) at the WTCW/WXKQ Studios M-F during business hours, with Doris at Food City, Felicia at Wal-Mart or with Alberta at ICAN Services. You can also mail your pledge to this address:
65 Sugar Run Road

"A friend is someone we turn to, when our spirits need a lift,
A friend is someone we treasure, for friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives with beauty, joy, and grace,
A friend makes the world we live in, a better and happier place."
