Give Me A Reason Drug Test Training

The Letcher County United for Substance Abuse Program(USAP), Appalachian HIDTA Drug Task Force and Operation United presents a training called "Give Me A Reason" on Wednesday February 4 at 11:30am at the Harry M. Caudill Library on Main Street in Whitesburg.  This drug prevention initiative is a voluntary drug testing program designed as a way for the youth to avoid peer pressure and say "no" to drug use by allowing parents to drug test their own kids and then seek help without getting police involved. The training will answer questions about why you should drug test, parental concerns, confidentiality, what type of test is used, what if the test is positive, and locations to obtain a kit.  All concerned citizens and parents are invited.
