SUMMER SPLASH!!!! WATER CONSERVATION AND WATER QUALITY.  21st Century Learning Center Summer Camp Fleming-Neon Middle School and Martha Jane Potter Elementary to be held at Fleming Neon Middle School May 28 thru June 20.  From 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon (no camp on Fridays, except for May 31, 2013).  Breakfast and lunch provided,  Transportation provided, Field trips, Story time, Outdoor activities and games, Indoor activities and games, Arts and Crafts, Technology, Science, Math and more! OPEN TO STUDENTS AT MARTHA JANE POTTER ELEMENTARY  AND FLEMING NEON MIDDLE SCHOOL.  COME JOIN THE FUN AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS! (Everyone who attends must have an application on file.)
 
Letcher County 4-H Yard Sale Donations
The Letcher County Extension Office will once again be accepting donations of Yard Sale items for the Letcher County 4-H yardsale. If you have items you would like to donate, please drop them off Monday through Friday between 9:00am and 4:00pm at the Extension Office.  They will accept donations through July 27th. The Letcher County 4-H Yard Sale will be on Thursday and Friday August 1st and 2nd. All proceeds from the 4-H Yard Sale will benefit all programs of the Letcher County 4-H programs to include State Fair!
 
Seco Pentecostal Church Special Singing
The Seco Pentecostal Church will have a special singing on Thursday May 30th at 7:00pm featuring Connie Abner from Hampton, Ohio.  Pastor Ted Collins welcomes all.
 
Letcher County Sanitation Memorial Day Schedule
The Letcher County Sanitation Department will be CLOSED and there won't be any garbage pickup in Letcher County this Monday, May 27th, Memorial Day. The garbage for those areas will be picked up the following Monday June 3rd.
 
Sergent Grade School Reunion
The Sergent Grade School Reunion will be held this Saturday May 25th under the shed at the Whitesburg VFW Post 5829 in Whitesburg.   There will be coffee and donuts at 9:00am and dinner served at 12:00 noon.  For more info call 633-9505, 633-7076 or 855-4726.
