The Whitesburg American Legion Ladies Auxillary is sponsoring a "Fun Day" on Sunday August 30th at 1:00pm at the American Legion Post 152 on Pine Mountain. There will be food plus corn hole and other games. You are invited!
The Route 7 Appalachian Artisan Fellowship presents a Bluegrass For The Arts event this Saturday August 29th at 6:00pm at the Campbell's Branch Community Center. Featured music groups will be Will Caudill & Route 7, Shonda Baker & Friends along with 7 South. Hot Dog dinners will be sold, there will be an auction of donated items, plus a drawing will be held for a 6 foot picnic table. All proceeds go to send 5 members to the Brushy Fork Art Institute and to fun an Artisan Center in West Letcher County. Entry free is $5.00 per person and all are welcome!
Whitesburg VFW Post 5829 will have it's 1st annual corn hole tournament this Sunday August 30th at 1:00pm at the VFW building at Pine Mountain Junction. 1st place is $100.00, 2nd place is $50.00 and 3rd place is $25.00. Jeremiah Missionary Baptist Church presents Life Line Classes through Turning Point Ministries and Celebrate Recovery.
