City of Whitesburg Halloween Safe Night

The City of Whitesburg will have a Halloween Safe Night on Friday October 31st from 5:00-8:00pm.  It will be on Main Street and throughout downtown Whitesburg.   All businesses and organizations are invited to decorate, celebrate and treat all the goblins.   All kids and families are welcome!

Letcher Elementary School PTO Holiday Bazaar

Letcher Elementary School PTO presents the first annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday November 15th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the school.   Local crafters and dealers will be on hand selling the best in mountain gifts during this fun filled day.  There will be a make your own ornament table for the kids and much more!  There's no entry free and for more info call 634-2281 or check out Letcher Elementary School on Facebook.  All proceeds will go to help the PTO purchase new technology for the classrooms. 

Haunted Forest In Jenkins

There will be a Haunted Forest at the Little Shepherd Ampitheatre Site in Jenkins on Friday and Saturday October 17th & 18th, Friday and Saturday October 24th & 25th plus Thursday, Friday & Saturday October 30th, 31st and November 1st.  It will be from 8:00-11:00pm on those days and admission is $5.00.  All proceeds benefit the Jenkins Volunteer Fire Department, Jenkins Softball Boosters and Little Shepherd Drama. 

Fleming Neon Dance Team Christmas Bazaar

The Fleming Neon Dance Team will be hosting a Christmas Bazaar at the Fleming-Neon Gymnasium on Saturday, November 15, 2014, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Many great vendors including North Face Jackets, Ugg Boots, Wood Crafts, Mary Kay, origami owl, nail art, home decor and many more Christmas gift options. Come out and support our dance team and enjoy a fun day of shopping!

Maykng Fire Department Haunted Firehouse in October

Mayking Fire Department will have a Haunted Firehouse every Friday and Saturday in October from 7:30pm until Midnight.  Prices will be $5.00 for ages 10 and UP and ages 4-10 will be $3.00.  Soft drinks and concessions will be also be sold.  All proceeds go to buy supplies and for maintenance of the firetrucks.
