The Letcher County Extension Office will once again be accepting donations of Yard Sale items for the Letcher County 4-H yardsale. If you have items you would like to donate, please drop them off Monday through Friday between 9:00am and 4:00pm at the Extension Office. They will accept donations through July 27th. The Letcher County 4-H Yard Sale will be on Thursday and Friday August 1st and 2nd. All proceeds from the 4-H Yard Sale will benefit all programs of the Letcher County 4-H programs to include State Fair! |

Letcher County Central High School will have band camp from Monday July 15 through Friday, July 26 from 8:00am to 5:00pm during the weekdays. Camp is the great time when students learn the music and the drill for the competition show. There is no cost and lunch is provided. Camp is mandatory for any student wanting to be in marching band or who is enrolled in high school band. |
The Whitesburg High School Class of 1968 is planning their 45th class reunion. A cookout is planned for Friday July 19, 2013 at the Whitesburg City Park with a dinner on Saturday July 20, 2013 at Pine Mtn Grill. The cost will be $40 per person. Make your check payble to WHS Class of 1968, and mail by July 1, 21013 to WHS Class of 1968, P.O. Box 162, Whitesburg, KY 41858, along with the names of those attending.
