The Letcher County Central High school Archery team will be having a yard sale April 1st-4th at the old vocational school in the archery range. It will be open daily from 9:00am-4:00pm. They are also taking donations on Monday,Tuesday, Thursday from 5:00-7:00pm. Come out and support the archery team as they get ready for nationals and world competition!!

Dress as your favorite "superhero" and Run With Courage at the 8th Annual 5K Run/1 Mile Walk to benefit Judi's Place for Kids on Saturday April 11th in Pikeville. The 3rd Annual McRoberts Community Center ATV Poker Run will be held on Saturday April 4th. Registration begins at 10:00am at the community center with the run starting at 11:00am rain or shine. Hot dogs and chips will be served after the ride. The price is $10.00 per hand with split the pot and other activities. The Letcher County Extension Service will offer the monthly Diabetic Workshop on Wednesday, April 15th at 1:00pm at the Extension Office located off Stone Ave and the Whitesburg By-pass.
