Over the weekend the Letcher County Central Cougar boys lost at South Laurel 68-37.
The Cougars have 2 more games in the regular season this week. They will play at Hazard Tuesday night and home against Perry County Central on Thursday.
The Jenkins Cavalier boys lost to Shelby Valley Friday at home 73-37. They have 5 games left on the regular schedule and all this week. The Cavaliers will play Middlesboro at home on Tuesday and June Buchanan at home Wednesday.
The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars lost at Shelby Valley Saturday afternoon 48-35. The LCC girls have 3 more games left in the regular season. They will play at Pike County Central Tuesday, at Pikeville on Thursday and Jenkins at home on Saturday.
The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers lost at home to Shelby Valley 81-39 on Friday. The Jenkins girls will play at Betsy Layne tonight and at Perry County Central on Thursday.
The Kentucky Wildcats have lost three straight for the first time in the Coach Cal era after losing to Texas A & M on the road Saturday night.
Despite leading the Aggies 30-26 at halftime, the Cats fell apart in the second half to lose 85-74.
The Cats are now 17-8 overall and 6-6 in the SEC. The Cats will next play at top 10 ranked Auburn on Valentine’s Day, this Wednesday at 9pm. Pre-game will begin at 7:30 here on the Bulldog.

To all high school and middle school students.
The Letcher Central High School Softball team will be having tryouts beginning Feb 15th and Feb 22nd 5:30-7:30 pm at the high school softball field.
No player will be allowed to participate in tryouts without a current physical. Please bring a copy of your physical to first tryout session.
