Harlan County Black Bear and UK signee Blair Green reached a milestone against Letcher Central last night. After scoring 28 points in the 91-45 win last night over the Lady Cougars, Green hit 3,000 career points. She is only the 24th female basketball player in KHSAA history to reach 3,000 career points.
The now 11-13 Lady Cougars will next play Saturday at Shelby Valley.
Also last night, The Knott County Central Lady Patriots got by the Jenkins Lady Cavaliers 74-69 at Hindman. The 6-18 Lady Cavaliers will next play at Magoffin County on Wednesday and will be home to take on Shelby Valley on Friday.

Old rivals heading in the opposite direction will reunite tonight at Rupp Arena as #15 Tennessee meets #24 Kentucky in a battle for second place in the Southeastern Conference.
